The Newest Members

Back in August 2012.. I was outside on the phone very late at night/early in the morning when I noticed a fluffy pile near the road. I was apprehensive as there are all sorts of animals who are regulars in the woods across the street, but suddenly I saw two sets of tiny ears and instantly my family gained two new members.

Meet Prince (brown) and Captain Hook (black, and named for the hook at the end of his tail). My 4 year old cat, Newt, was also apprehensive at first but eventually embraced her role as mother.

They will be 1 year old in August and I can't believe how quickly time has gone.
